What really does Stoops have to gain from taking the job if the majority of fans and BMA don't want him in the first place? Immense pressure, lowered donations, potential exodus of current players and commits and to start off with ND as your opening act at home, sounds like a rude reception and a rocky next several months versus your comfy setup you go there in KY.
