Get some momentum, sell to players and recruits that things are going to be vastly improved soon, and get Meyer to start grooming his replacement immediately, ala Ohio St.

And for those of you who will say "eew, he's toxic, please no!" (just like you probably do during election time), ask yourself: "Am I looking for a date or do I want palpable results?

Meyer should have been hired here about 15 years ago, changing our trajectory.

Urban is always a 4-5 years and out deal. Health problems will arise everytime. But in those 4-5 years he will win big, but won't be around long.

Or we continue hiring 'nice guys' that take 5-6 years building awesome recruiting classes just to lose a bunch of games and 'hope' we catch some breaks? Sark is coming in 1 year, and we will fully lose any and ALL momentum we've built the last 11-12 years. Do. It!

It ain't 2003. Nor is it 5 years ago. And we're neither Ohio State nor Florida.

Urban Meyer, now, would restart the cycle of excitement for a reputable coach, immediate improvements that give hope, followed by rumors of him leaving, absurd contract extensions, then stagnation, inexplicable losses, disappointment, and frustration wondering why we are so cursed.

All you guys saying 'pass' on Urban need to go Google his coaching record. His worst seasons have been "8" wins. The dude literally wins Everywhere he goes in College Football. He's 13 years younger than Saban. He wins at All Costs. He keeps momentum, and Then some. Anyone else is a ? and 'hoping' they will pan out.

Some of you guys don't get it. Urban, Saban, no matter, will all fall flat on their faces when they arrive on campus. Get an up and comer and pay him less. As he surpasses expectations, raise his salary.
