Nope, I'm with you. 8 wins has been the worst season he has ever had in college. He would walk into the best situation he's ever had. I'd rather win for 3 or 4 years, than 'hope' for another 100 years.

Also to consider, Meyer or Sanders are probably the only two easily attainable candidates that may not only keep most current players and recruits in place, but may indeed increase the influx of recruits and portal transfers immediately.

But they don't "get" our culture and "our kids are watching" so...

Urban Meyer is the savior, for Aggie football.
There is no one else.
I don't like him.
I don't respect him.
But he will win here, and win big for 10+ years.
We need him.
He needs us.
Make it happen.

Can you guarantee Urban Meyers going to help us win in those 4-5 years. He's probably going to ask for a higher salary. Why not go after somebody a little younger.

Give him $8mm/yr with a big bonus for a SEC Championship and a huge bonus for a NC. Want to get paid? Win.

He's a football guy. He's competitive, and he knows he still has plenty left in the tank after Not coaching the last few years. He was close to taking the Texas job had Jacksonville not opened up. He can say he has no desire, but we all see he is constantly around the game.
