You don't know that. Stop acting like it's a FACT.
great! how many Million can we put you down for on the buyout?

What ? Zero? you don't have a few million to spare?

It's a fact. He's here for a few more years. no matter how poorly he does.

The only way he's gone is if he resigns or takes some other deal. But why would he? His contract is fully guaranteed. No one will pay him what he's getting here. he will wait until he gets fired and take the money whenever that happens. and it's going to be a while. years.

Please give me the Lottery numbers for the next two weeks Nostradumbass.
You're equating me correctly guessing 1:292 million odds with evaluating a 76 million dollar buyout? If you're going to start name calling i would suggest you look in the mirror. Because you aren't being intelligent. Emotional and angry for sure. But not intelligent or logical.

And you can not predict the future. It's your opinion. Nothing more.

which will just happen to be the correct opinion. see you here in a few months. bring a fork and knife to eat the crow. probably some salt would be advisable.

Works both ways. Make sure you show up.

I don't think we get Campbell but I think we need someone like him. a Guy who is a players coach, that knows how to motivate them, and can connect with them. Those guys in Detroit would run through a damn wall for him. You could see it last year on Hard knocks, he knows how to get the best out of his players, even if they are not traditionally top tier talent.

I'd love to have Dan, but I don't think there's any way he would take it. NFL HC seems like a way better gig, and at this point he has become MCDC.

Billy said in an interview yesterday that Dan is very loyal to the Lions organization that gave him a chance to be head coach. Plus it's going well over there at the the moment. Do you call him? Yeah but he's happy where he's at. Timing is everything.

I think one thing people over look about him leaving Detriot is that its is a professional team with professional players they understand its a business. And if his home calls and offers him an amazing contract and he wants to take it... I don't think they would not understand. Now I doubt it happens but that's just an aspect I think people over look.

Also what if they call Dan and he declines but Aaron shows interest?

Dan probably will view this as his chance if he wants to coach A&M. Odds are if he passes on the job and we hire a different new coach its at least 7-10 years
until the job conceivably comes open again. And at that point in all likelihood his stock will not be so high as to warrant consideration.

If I am Dan Campbell I'm bolting Detroit and the NFL for my alma mater. He may love the NFL more than collegiate football. That is what we just don't know

If Dan ever comes back to Texas it will be to coach the Cowboys, which I think that he eventually will.

A lot of NFL guys don't want to deal with the 24-7 recruiting of HS and now transfer portal grind too. They just want to coach. I read NFL guys actually have real vacations during the offseason (more free time) than college because none of the recruiting B.S. So, right there, you'd have to ask that question.

The X&O challenges easier in college but a lot More time spent and responsibility with roster management and retention.

Because everyone in here would give their right arm to return to your alma mater for even just a small chance to have a statue built of you one day.

Now, imagine what having that opportunity would feel like for a guy like Dan. Whether he has coached in college or not, coaching is coaching and we're driven by challenges and passion. Especially when it's a place we love.

Also, unless you know the man personally PLEASE do not say like it's a FACT: There is no way Dan is leaving the NFL and coming here. He gets paid around 5 million a year at Detroit.

Since I don't know the man personally, who knows. But if it we're me, a die hard Aggie, no. NFL has got to be a better gig with way fewer headaches.

Why would a NFL coach leave? $9,000,000 a year for 10 years guaranteed. Win 8 games and get a 5 year extension.

Coaches in the NFL get guaranteed contracts like that..
