This is the only way.

Jimbo is a limiter, not an accelerant.

We have seen his ceiling, just like many of his assistant coach hires have seen theirs.

This is it. This is as good as we can be with his version of an NCAA football program.

Time to hire a young and hungry coach who wants to prove himself. Time to hire young and hungry coordinators who aspire to greater. Time to hire young and hungry position coaches, not those who have been fired multiple times.

It is time.

What has Petrino done to deserve that…he has not improved improved anything.
If you're going to promote someone it should be Durkin.

Whenever we do hire a new HC…I hope it's someone with a defensive background.

Petrino has been terrible. Our offense is not good, our oline is really bad, and the playcalling does little to help out.

Promote the guy who couldn't scheme up 20 points? Or promote the guy who took a job to get a weekly railroading by jimbo?

Why does anyone think Petrino is worth anything? No one wanted this guy and now he's head coach material? What an embarrassing post .

If Jimbo has missed this bad on coaching hires and not been capable of keeping his good then what is there to lose?

He will not suddenly get better with a new coordinator

He either has it or he doesn't and he does not

I think it's likely he is just the playcaller for jimbos scheme. Which we are all aware, is feces.

Doesn't matter who is the driver when the engine is a v2.

Wouldn't help this season. Offensive line is what it is. Jimbo made a bad hire and retained him. Can't run the ball, can't protect the qb so we are what we are this year.

Agreed: a V-8 only running on 2 cylinders, being driven into curbs, potholes, trees, etc by the driver/ head coach (Petrino, Durkin, Addazio as contributing passengers in this wreaking mess).

Wouldn't put it past Fisher to be putting clamps on the scheme so it looks like it wasn't Fisher's scheme that was the problem. This might play out at end of season. If it is the OCs scheme, making a bad resume.

This is just my personal opinion, but I believe that Jim has sabotaged Bobby's offense because he is a grade A narcissist, and also has an inferiority complex bc Jameis and Dalvin got that championship for him.
