This was a very disappointing loss. After 10-7 halftime lead, Tennessee outscored us 13-3 in the 2nd half, including a 39-yard punt return for a touchdown. Our defense held Tennessee to 337 total yards (100 passing and 237 rushing) and 13 points and came up with an interception in the end zone, but a returned punt for a touchdown and 2 interceptions in the 4th quarter doomed us. As a result, we have lost 8 (7 SEC) consecutive road games, and Tennessee has won 13 (7 SEC) consecutive home games.
