Hog/pigs have a strong hate /love relationship with BP that they haven't yet gotten over.

BP is the only coach that gave Arkansas any relevance during his tenure which came crashing down on an arkansas back road...They haven't yet found a successful coach. (Sound like A&M, our lack of successful coaching hire…but we have an inherent structural advantage of being A&M… We can hire morans and be partly successful...)

Maybe it's not on the coaches. At some point the players have to be accountable. Coaching only goes so far. A guy can only have his guys rep things and say "don't jump" so many times. Center has to snap it when it's supposed to be snapped as well, which was the issue once or twice.

This is 100% false. Look at the drop off in production for Will Rogers with a new HC/OC. You aren't telling me that a senior statistical leader in the SEC just forgot how to play football. You have to have players but coaching matters.

Most prognosticators are taking pigs+points and several taking pigs for outright win.

Are they getting their best RB back? Don't think he's played much this season (or maybe not at all). Think we struggled stopping him last year.

Think Pigs get oppty to game plan Max Johnson and were successful last yr vs his tendencies (and atrocious OL play).

Whomever controls LOS wins this game and that's not a guarantee w our OL IMO.

Sanders was listed as questionable.

We are currently -259 ML. If it were such an easy bet that wouldn't be the case. Casinos make money by adjusting odds and keeping the bet balanced. Money is not in on Arky, at least currently.

Arky is in the middle of an incredibly brutal stretch of LSU, A&M, Ole Miss, Bama in a row. They gave up 38 to BYU who only scored 14 against Sam Houston. A&M offense vs Arkansas defense won't be the story line. The game will be decided on if Jefferson can keep them in and ultimately win the game.

Jefferson is very good but I don't know that he has a burner WR like he did two years ago. He makes their offensive line look much better than they are with pocket presence and that he's just hard to get down. I think we'll get plenty of pressure, but we have to at least get him down. I'm much more concerned with him extending plays and making throws than a lot of big runs.

For what it's worth, Sagarin has us as the 12th best team as of this morning, which is 3rd in the SEC behind #1 Alabama and #3 Georgia. Alabama at #1 makes it very suspect. I'm assuming it is still factoring in some of last season since it is still early. Arkansas is rated below Auburn.

ESPN FPI has us as the 16th best team, behind #3 Alabama, #5 Georgia, #13 Ole Miss, and #14 LSU. Arkansas is #34, just behind Auburn and South Carolina.

Sagarin's ratings aren't "almost accurate" until about midway through the season. Against cupcakes, all the numbers are heavily skewed.

I watched the LSU game last night.

Jefferson had the best pocket presence and awareness during that game of any QB I've seen in a while. We have a very hard time getting pressure as it is. He had several good runs too. Gonna be hard to beat this guy.

Their oline is pretty darn good too.

Jefferson also choked a few throws badly whenever he was forced to leave the pocket, throwing balls 20 feet over a wide open receiver's head in the end zone.

He showed up at the end of the game when LSU DB's decided covering wasn't something they wanted to do anymore.

He's hot and cold as a passer, but if he gets his shoulders parallel to the line of scrimmage he's a big, tough, physical runner.

Our program is in a different world relative to when that contract was signed ~2008. This series was key to unraveling the tu-0u hype vortex that had reached an intolerable pitch. (anyone remember Ubbs the Angry Midget?) It gave the SEC an entree into the rich north Texas talent pool at a near-zero cost to us, and gave us a big-name game at a time when the powers that be had made it very, very hard to catch an Ag game on TV. And arguably this series was the start of the avalanche of a season that we enjoyed in 2012.

I'm sure there will be movement after the Weigman news, but anyone with half a brain knew he wasn't going to play. People just now betting after that news, are probably in for a rough day.

Also, we opened on the ML at -210 and are currently at -245. That just tells you that big money has come in on the Ags, despite the public betting the spread and ML on Arky.
