Children still work in mines today, he could go join the tough workers and get the life he yearns for. Somehow, I don't think he will.

In that case, she should blame those who advised him poorly on leaving early. He could have transferred and potentially boosted his draft stock.

He was 1st Team All-SEC on writers ballots and 2nd team on coaches in his last year of college. No All-American honors. He moved up from 2nd team the second year. It sounds like Durkin did fine by him. Maybe it was interview or combine or not one of the better national talents. I want all Aggies to be drafted early, too, but that doesn't always make due to coaching weakness. Succeeding at the Combine is entirely on the athlete after the season is over.

Junction boys doin' work back in the day before NIL, big screen TV in the toilets of locker room, and $15 chicken wraps. FYI, they walked 3 miles to and from the practice facility and they liked it.
