Until very recently I would've said Dabo is the obvious answer. Not so much today. I think they'd call Kirby but I think he'd say no. If Brian Kelly can keep it going at LSU I think he becomes the most likely.

Jackson State was 21-40 the 6 years before he got there. He went 27-6 and won 2 conference titles. Colorado was 1-11 last year with an O/U of 3.5 wins. So far they're 3-0. That seems like pretty good coaching to me if the mission is to win games.pablof said:

Do you think a Brian Kelly who maintains his current level of success at LSU would take the gig? I don't doubt his coaching abilities. However, what he has done is more about his ability to bring in talent. In the case of Colorado, he flipped the roster, that is not Xs and Os. That is just being shameless in basically kicking 3/4 of the roster out of Boulder.
Most impressively, he has complete buy in from his new roster and appears to be an excellent motivator.
Same at Jackson State, but there his roster was far better than any team he played.
Tomorrow will do better in telling us more about his x and o abilities.
What would Deon's record be as a Buff with his son at QB. Kid is a baller.
