So, each week D Sanders has had an issue/stmt. from the opposing team/media to help motivate his team to be cinderfella of the week / year?

* TCU (no one believed in CU, TCU coaches said "something", media said "something")
* NU Coach Rhule said 'something' to motivate CU/Sanders&son to victory
* CSU Coach, of a bad CSU team, has now said 'something' that has irritated D Sanders and his son.

This will be ongoing all year...opposing coaches each week will purposely ("unintentionally") state something for D Sanders (and his QB and WR/DB) to take offense too to make sure they have motivation to show their moxy.

Think this is a make-believe media storyline to hype CU and Sanders further. Think the CSU coach trying to grab some attention time (maybe asked to do so), but this whole storyline can't go away soon enough as all want to be part of the story since they are attn *****s.

I'm sure you'd be fine w/an opposing coach bringing up for absolutely no reason that he thinks you weren't raised right b/c you commit the crime of wearing a hat and sunglasses during interviews.

Every single one of you here would be annoyed if our HC took personal shots at an opposing HC of a team we were were massive underdogs against over something so petty. Not only that, Norvell wears his visor all the time when doing pressers so the dude is also a hypocrite.

I swear, some of y'all are so weird. Sanders/CU are the big stories of the season so of course ESPN's going to write about them.

Way to add to the "make-believe media storyline" by spreading the storyline, OP.

They haven't played at Hughes since 2016.

Here is Canvass Stadium. That's another reason it was stupid for Norvell to pop off. CSU wants to keep their series w/CU going and he just gave the Buffs an easy excuse to say nah never mind. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if CU uses this as the reason to buy out the game that's supposed to be in Fort Collins next year.

Sanders will use anything anyone says or does to create himself and his team as victims. This is childish behavior, of course, but that's how children who should act and think like adults are motivated.

CSU's statement "'When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off.' That's what my mother taught me" - are indicative of good breeding and manners. If you don't do those things when you greet someone, you are as unrefined and ill-mannered as Sanders.

For goodness sakes, people. Get off this man's bandwagon. He loves himself enough for all of us.

The "A" for Aggies is still painted every year though (I thought that is what they were referencing in their post)

that's much nicer than Hughes but I wanted to get a pic with the A in it. I left CO on 2007.

He took an unprompted personal shot at Deion and attacked the way his mother raised him and you think this is imagined? Ok sure. Somebody has their head up their ass in this situation and it's not Deion.

Oh and by the way

Norvell has a .500 record as a coach. Maybe he should worry about coaching rather than being the fashion and politeness police.

I don't get the hate for Sanders. He took a dead Jackson State program and won 2 conference championships in 3 years. He took over Colorado that was 1-11 last year, looked at the roster and figured he couldn't do what he was hired to do which is win. So he revamped the roster and so far so good. They'll lose next week against Oregon but what he's done is pretty remarkable. Between him and our guy which one has continual discipline problems? Not Deion. He's been very clear. If he smells weed you have to leave. He took a roster that with 28 fall practices and they came out looking well coached and ready to execute. Last Saturday we had to kick a FG because we still lack discipline. Deion is aggressive, playing to win and I don't really know what Jimbo is doing but he's not looking to put his foot on anyone's neck.

Deion will get whomever he wants in the portal this offseason and we don't know how to use it.

Yeah seems like Deion plans to use the "it's personal" for every game he can. Not sure this is the best long term strategy.

Why not? Reminds me of how Nick Saban/Kirby Smart operate

A really good offense can outscore CU possibly.

They are not a good defensive football team.

If Sanders has an off night and CSU's offense comes to play, we could see an upset.

Not counting on it but that CU defense is suspect.

All that Primetime stuff is just smart marketing.

Some people don't like hearing the truth … especially about their lack of knowledge or understanding of proper social graces. Sanders appears to be one of those people. That will make his humble pie taste that much more bitter. It may not happen this week, but it WILL happen. Humility comes before honor.

Oh so you're predicting a team that most of the CFB world thought would win 3 games max this year will lose at some point?

Neat.

The guy has already doubled CU's wins from last year and will more than likely triple it tomorrow. Keep finding lame reasons to hate on him if it makes you feel better though.
