First of all you're confusing people. "We". We're talking Aggie football, not t-sips.SinKiller said:
If replacing 22 catches is a "Huge loss", we've got much bigger problems.
As a plus, this looks like we might actually be using a TE this fall…
And after the season concludes with a disappointing record "were it not for injuries we could have finished 11-2..."heavily intoxtricated said:Pepe SiIvia said:Sounds like cope to me. Wright is a blocker and Johnson hasn't proven that he can make an impact when Donovan could.AggieBoi13 said:
It will still be a bright spot.
That's just classic TexAgs. Best player at a position goes down? "It's no biggie." Then everyone is shocked and amazed when that position sucks.
This is a pretty massive loss for our offense. No way to spin it.
Yes, we're doomed.Divining Rod said:
This is a HUGE loss for us. Anyone who thinks otherwise….
Do you ever get tired of being wrong? You've proven it over and over, your histrionics aside, you have zero way of knowing if this is/.was "Huge". And have you been in the Spirit magazine lately?Divining Rod said:First of all you're confusing people. "We". We're talking Aggie football, not t-sips.SinKiller said:

2nd of all, you don't understand college athletics if you think a young player's stats define how good he will be the next year. Especially a young player who comes on strong near the end of his FRESHMAN year and makes freshman All-American honorable mention team.
I really hate, 'sips, especially the ones who try to hide behind an Aggie facade.
Sin Killer "sip schiller" is a tea-sip

Hope he has a speedy recovery. Wish him the best.
Be honest. Who else didn't know what position he played? I thought I followed the team well enough/watch all the games and had never heard of him until now.

It's a big loss. Unless a newcomer steps in. All the guys on campus last year did a bunch of nothing when the lights came on. Max is cool as a blocker and occasional catch but that's about it. Johnson didn't do anything last year.
Green looked like he had potential to be a all SEC type player. No one else has shown that on a college football field yet.

This does suck no matter how you look at it, but this is a position we have great depth at. Not to mention, in the open practice held over a week ago, the tight ends that were running with the first unit were Jake Johnson and Theo Melin Ohrstrom…

Donovan had like 20 something catches. He had some big plays but let's not act like he had a Wydermyer level impact that can't be replaced. We have Jake, the #1 TE from the same class that would've played more if he was healthier. We have Max who can do anything you ask him to. You also have a Swedish Beast who caught 8 passes in the scrimmage. We will be fine.

Heh, I remember when Baylor Cupp going down meant complete disaster for the TE unit and then Wydermyer was an All SEC Freshman and All SEC player.heavily intoxtricated said:Pepe SiIvia said:Sounds like cope to me.
