Yes

There was no AC Saturday but they have big barn fans and there was breeze. Def cooler than outside.

Edit to add that during the TexAgs event Ross said there were supply chain issues with the AC equipment.

They are actually pretty cool. They hang on wires and can be cranked up and out of the way if needed. Seems like a good idea.

Architect rendering by someone that does not know anything about football. Good luck spotting the ball on the hash outside of 10 yards. Highest goal post I have ever seen and no support. Kick that without hitting structure.

There's 2 grass fields right outside this facility. They use both.

The only part still under construction is the buildings labeled Academic & Wellness Center.

We know which comes last.

Few questions some could probably answer. Rendering had multiple glass doors leading onto practice fields. So just decided to fake everyone out in that? Those are non existent. Big rooms on side of building with duct working going everywhere. What's the point in that?

The big doors are there but there is currently construction staging outside of them for the Academic & Wellness building. Team currently has to walk around the staging area to get between the two fields. I'd imagine once the building is done that will all be cleaned up and there will be more direct access.

On the ductwork I'm guessing two things- 1. Inside routing to keep the outside looking clean, and/or 2. Pending arrival of the A/C equipment that Ross said was delayed.

I assume some signage/video boards are coming?

Really nice facility, now lets transfer that success to the football field.

There's 2 now. Don't know about a 3rd. I guess you could consider Kyle a 3rd practice field?

Those two "fields" are new. There are the prior existing areas & practice fields past those.

Remember that the old indoor track would have been sitting on much of the area in that picture.

Believe the plan calls for 2 outside and 1 inside. The outdoor fields in that pic are indeed new although similar in location to the prior fields. The building in the background, at the top of the pic, is the new indoor facility. The other side of that is Kyle and the "A" Lot. I don't believe there are any more outside fields.

Here's the rendering again. The 2 fields shown above are the 2 in the rendering.

Those new fields didn't have the grass put down until a couple of days ago. The areas/fields closer to George Bush were already there. That is what they have been practicing on.


So only portions are new. Some of the grass fields, as you can see in next picture, were already there. But calling it a separate "field". was probably incorrect/confusing on my part.
