2024 Silsbee ATH Drelon Miller commits to Texas A&M
One of the top playmakers in the Lone Star State is headed to Aggieland as Silsbee’s Drelon Miller announced his intentions to continue his athletic and academic career at Texas A&M today via social media.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder raked in 44 offers from across the country, but it ultimately came down to A&M, USC and LSU. He becomes the 13th commit of the 2024 recruiting class.
Miller is listed as an athlete, but the majority of his work in high school has been done at receiver. Still, when you turn the tape on, it’s easy to imagine him factoring in at a number of positions at the collegiate level.
It’s kind of similar to what the Aggies have in Ainias Smith. Get the ball into his hands in any way possible and good things will follow. Last fall, he accounted for nearly 1,800 yards from scrimmage and amassed 25 total touchdowns.
His junior highlights are a lot of fun to watch. You can view them below.
Stay tuned. We’ll have much more on an important recruiting win for the Aggies upcoming for our Premium subscribers.
