Not sure why we are concerned about these guys since they are no longer on the roster. The fact they were screwups up here is a pretty good indication that they will be screwups wherever they go. As they say when they fire someone.....good luck in your future endeavors.
Some Ags just want confirmation/validation that we didn't really lose anything by these guys going elsewhere
Makes you feel better seeing these guys not starting as opposed to them going somewhere else and becoming studs
Just look at all the tyree Wilson threads over the years . Seems like a new one lamenting his transfer would pop up every time he had a good game or was talked about as going high in the draft
Yep watching Kyler Murray and knowing he by far would have easily been the best qb to ever put in an anm jersey still hurts.
Murray would have been 2nd at best.
No chance if one has any objectivity. Easily the best and the number 2 might as well be playing another sport compared to Murray

Demas and Marshall are the starting Wide Receivers for Bishop Sycamoreachooooo said:
Looks like King is second string to a RS F; Demas is nowhere to be found and an LSU report on their spring game stated that it was "notable" that Harris wasn't a starter.

King might still be ok, he is young. No time to throw and crap offense didn't help him.
lol. Denver Harris is constantly hurt from his tackling technique, and he gets beat deep defending the pass like he did here.mm42 said:
I will be really surprised if Denver Harris doesn't end up a great player at LSU. He needs to grow up for sure, but the kid is a player.

King was the only one of the three mentioned I care about. Seemed like a good kid, not in trouble like the other two. Hope he does well.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:To be fair, King wasn't a "screw-up" like the others mentioned. He had a small body of work in his time here, and the results just weren't that good.Quote:

I wouldn't even consider myself a Kyler Murray fan, and I certainly wouldn't go as far as to suggest he is better than JFF, but to suggest he couldn't handle the SEC or didn't have the talent to play in this conference is just wrong in my opinion. He was the fastest player on any field he stepped on and could throw the ball with anyone. You could argue he was too small, but my counter point would be he knew how to avoid contact. He may not have won the Heisman, but I think he would've been a very good QB had Sumlin not botched the whole situation.Texagtrojan said:TheTruthsLastHope said:RyanPearson said:TheTruthsLastHope said:NyAggie said:Oldfart2 said:

Not too smart are ya? Murray couldn't handle the SEC, that's why he ran to a league with no defense. Manziel played for 2 years and had 10,000 total yards against some of the best defenses in the nation. Murray couldn't touch that. Murray played 3 years and had 6800 yards? You need to reacess your thought process bro.

I think it's an interesting tidbit since every media outlet was reporting a mass exodus and Aggies wouldn't have enough players to field a team this year. And some Aggies even fell for it and thought it was the end of our program. This thread is just one of several regarding those kids whom left (kicked off the team) that reinforces many ags need to ignore the media and support the team. We will be fine. We just needed a little calibration of our recruiting tactics.
This. We seemed to be chasing the star ranking over evaluating the overall player (including CHARACTER). Guys that continually do knucklehead moves that get them kicked off the squad didn't just start being that way when they got here - previous coaches/teachers/family have been overlooking a LOT for the short term glory on the field...and our recruiting staff completely whiffed on their evaluations.amercer said:
Stars elsewhere, benchwarmers, out of football, doesn't make a damn bit of difference. It's 100% a failure by our staff to bring in guys who can play and we can keep.
If all of our 5 star guys are out of football and working construction next year it doesn't mean we should be happy to see them go. It means our staff was terrible at the whole process.
