On Friday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M Athletics as baseball plays its final SEC series, softball heads to the Austin Regional, and men's golf and women's golf aim for a national title.

Football
Jimbo Fisher & Co. have added through the transfer portal once again as the Aggies received the commitment of former Boston College offensive lineman Finn Dirstine. Coming to Texas A&M with one year of eligibility remaining, Dirstine is A&M's ninth transfer portal addition.

Baseball
Despite holding a 7-2 lead, Texas A&M slowly faltered as they were eventually walked off by Mississippi State on Thursday, 10-8. The Aggies benefited from 15 walks but failed to capitalize on key opportunities as they left 16 runners stranded and batted 0-for-4 with the bases loaded.

It is now do-or-die time for Aggie baseball, as their postseason future will rely on the outcome of this series. The Aggies will face off with the Bulldogs at 6 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Softball
Making its 21st consecutive appearance in the Big Dance, Texas A&M looks to make a statement as they open the NCAA Tournament with Texas State in Austin. The winner of Friday’s game will play the winner of Texas vs. Seton Hall on Saturday at 2 p.m. The losers will play at 4:30 p.m.

Men’s Basketball
Boots is back! Buzz Williams & Co. are receiving reinforcements as senior guard Tyrece "Boots" Radford has announced his return to Texas A&M for the 2023-24 season. In 35 games last season, Radford averaged 13.3 points per game on an A&M team at reached the NCAA Tournament.

Women’s Basketball
Former Auburn All-SEC Second Team guard Aicha Coulibaly announced her intent to transfer to Joni Taylor’s Texas A&M squad. Coulibaly averaged 16.0 points last season.

Women’s Tennis
No. 2 Texas A&M’s run in the NCAA Tournament was halted by Pac-12 regular season and tournament champs No. 7 Stanford, who swept the Aggies 4-0 in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday.

Despite the disappointing outcoming, head coach Mark Weaver and Texas A&M women’s tennis have boasted remarkable runs through the last two years. The past 24 months have consisted of back-to-back perfect records in conference play, back-to-back regular season titles, one SEC Tournament title and back-to-back trips to the NCAA quarterfinals with an absurd 63-5 record during that time.

Women’s Golf
The reigning SEC champs are shooting for bigger accomplishments as they will play for a national title beginning Friday at the Grayhawk Golf Club. You can keep up with the action HERE. The Aggies tee off at 1:52 p.m.

Men’s Golf
Texas A&M fought off elimination on the final day of the NCAA Salem Regional, topping off the host Clemson in a one-hole playoff on Wednesday. The Aggies will play for an NCAA Championship next week.

Track & Field
After the women placed third and the men placed fifth at the SEC Outdoor Championships, the Aggie Track & Field team will look ahead to the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds beginning next Wednesday.
