Bad sign. Our greatest exponent is now an ex-exponent. Very sad. He may have done more for A&M off the field than anyone who got on the field. This season and next will determine it.

Who cares anymore? Most of these kids have no loyalty to our school, so why she would care if they leave? I just want to win. Recruiting used to be so much fun, now it's lame. Sure Bobby's a great kid, but they all come and go now. Doesn't matter. Y'all worrying about the optics is dumb. If Jimbo ****s the bed again, he'll be out in a couple of years and this will all start over again. We have enough talent on the roster to be really good. If we can win 10 games, recruiting will pick back up. If not, we'll be dead in the water.

I am a little sad about this. It's going to work out for Bobby wherever he goes. But he was kinda the last of the old fashioned recruiting players. All about the school and really brought family and friends into it.

Oh well.

Perfectly said. The amount of crying over this is pathetic. If he had ounce of competitive fire, he would prove he should be on the field. It's easier to quit than to work hard for something.

I think that's part of the upset/sadness though. He worked his ass off building relationships, getting buy in, and ultimately bringing a posse of a class in. A step back in time where you had a couple of guys bringing in commits that you knew 95% of the class were going to be together through their Jr year. I think it's a gut punch that even if those recruiter guys exist now, they can easily be gone after a year

Huh? I actually have 2 degrees from A&M. He could have done something, like stick around and prove your worth. If was as close to a 5 star that some have posted, then get out there and bust your ass. It's easier to quit then try…..
