Pretty cool Dykes offered the invitation. No wonder Michigan lost, bad karma not accepting the invitation.

I wonder how drunk he has to get for the hat to come off.

I interview Spike Dykes on the phone in advance of the '93 A&M-Tech game for the Batt and he hold me that the Aggie offense "knew how to get the electricity to the dynamite."

Spike Dykes was a good friend and fishing buddy with my uncle who was a huge supporter and donor to Texas A&M athletics.

My uncle played baseball for Texas A&M in the WWII era, went into service and came back and decided he needed to get on with his career and get on with his life, got his engineering degree and never play organized baseball again.

Beat me to it.

And there were a couple of doozies.

Spike was a class act.! Played a lot of golf with my one of my Dads buddies. Everyone loved his company!
