To be fair Brian Kelly has really cleaned up the culture there, my guess is he told Denver that he would have a zero tolerance policy, one screw up and he's gone.
Yup, one felony and you're on probation.

Huh?

Well now I get to root against a team and a player in one go. Very efficient.
it's hilarious that guys like this are all about

"ooh look at me I love LSU so much and they are so cool!"

"of course I chose Texas A&M first because they paid me more money, but then I got in trouble with the cops. but now look I am dancing!!"

You're such a dipsht. Marshall's infractions weren't remotely as serious as Denver DA Harris. Marshall will at least play in the NFL tho. Denver Harris will be working at a McDonald's or robbing people, since he sucks at football. And no, we don't want his goofy ass if given the vote.

Your handle is SL a g g y dad. How are we supposed to take you seriously? Or did I get it wrong and you're a LSU troll?
You've gotten it wrong TWICE now. I signed onto this site -5yrs ago because I was paying the tuition for my daughter. Had I known that **** could be perceived negatively, I'd have chosen a different user name. Does that really make any difference? You called ME out because I have a different opinion than you. You call me a troll because I have a different opinion than you. Well, I have nothing to gain by bashing some kid that I don't even know. I responded to the post above because I think he's right. YOU are acting like a little girl and a YOU have no class. I won't continue to engage because ME > YOU MFer.
just stfu. I attack the idiots on here plenty but you're annoying. You can help Denver Harris get his McDonald's jobs if he's not robbing people.

You'd think so but they have 3 champs since 2000 while we don't even have one conference championship in that time. They somehow make it all work.
Well when you have better players, it tends to lead to wins. Recruiting lock on their own state and paying players before it was legal was a good combo.

Like Ryan Perriloux, many of these high flying recruits have the life span of a house fly.

Denver Harris looks to be one of these.

I'm not normally one to 'go back' but your post on Freeze was so self-righteous that I remembered it.

It's amazing how people want to tear other people down that made a mistake. My Bible says all are sinful. So none here have been mistake free.
Guess that only applies to millionaire coaches.

Oh there's a much bigger difference between the two scenarios but we can't speak out loud about that here.

Lol. He will not be a first rounder unless he grows the **** up AND decides that a football career is more important than getting high.

Right now, that's not looking very likely. He seems more like Speedy Noil v2.0

I posted this in the thread asking of he was kicked out of school but I'll post it here as well

Just because Harris "committed" to LSU it does not mean he will be at LSU.

If he is in poor academic standing at A&M there is nothing LSU can do.

Kelly wouldn't have taken his commitment if he was ineligible. The desire to slander this kid is beyond sad.

Chris Marshall committed to Ole Miss today. Glad to see these young men getting a second chance

Why not? His commitment means nothing it doesn't hurt them unless he enrolls.

Also I never said he failed out but there is a good chance Marshall or Harris ends up at a JUCO.

http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/eligibility_center/Transfer/FourYearGuide.pdf

Per this, if Harris posted a 0.0 this semester he isn't eligible to even practice with a new NCAA team, any division.

Also, per the link, players suspended at current school are not eligible for the one-time transfer. A&M would have to rescind that, and why would you do that for someone going to a divisional rival?

Couldn't be more appropriate.

Over/under on his first run in with the law/coaches?

I'll bet he makes headlines before the spring semester is over.
He could literally get away with murder there. There's zero institutional control over athletics; the fans have no expectations off the field; and the local government does not care about law enforcement at all. It's the perfect place for troubled players. At least, until they blow one play and the entire state turns on them.
Where do the Aggies get this perception? Are there examples? I mean I can point to 2008 when LSU dismissed its starting QB, Ryan Perrilloux, right after a great Spring. And then 2012 when LSU dismissed Heisman Finalist Tyrann Mathieu just 3 weeks before the season opener.

They had RP on lockdown after that - would not let him transfer to any FCS school in the state even though they wanted him badly - he was threatened - they cut a deal to send him to Jacksonville State

Same with TM - only would let him go to McNeese but he wasn't feeling the culture so he went on and sat out the year

But rumor has it if a star player is kicked out of LSU they can't stay in town and finish up at Southern - they said if they excel it puts a bad image on LSU lol

Sad but true in the 90s LSU had legit players leave and play at SU and did well - Saban came in and mandated that can't happen anymore -

This board has nobody connected to our program closely enough to provide accurate info yet we've got all these people who know the behind the scenes workings at lsu huh? Very interesting lmao

"Rumor has it"….man GTFO with that. Y'all slandering kids bc they don't want to be here or bc they made mistakes is pathetic. I thought we were supposed to be high and mighty, above the booing and all that? Or is this just when we think everyone is watching ?
