Reed is the real deal!
Weigman will be looking over his shoulder!
Both will need an O-line that can hold up.

This. By next week it'll have the 'book it' adverb attached to it.NoahAg said:
Ah yes. Classic TexAgs. The backup to the backup is the best player on the team.
Never good when the initial claim has "real deal." You've ALWAYS gotta wait a week for that. THEN, you can add "book it."Bonzer103 said:This. By next week it'll have the 'book it' adverb attached to it.NoahAg said:

Look, the only "real deal" there is, or ever will be, is Reggie McNeal. Even he didn't turn out to be that real...

So what's your sample size genius?

So what's your sample size genius?
10 years playing the position at a competitive level and 15 years coaching it.
His throwing mechanics are horrible. It's not hard to see, even for somebody who doesn't know what they're talking about.

Sounds to me you wish you were as good as Reed. I bet you were a great coach, criticizing athletes like that instead of lifting them up.

So with all that practical experience, this kid is the worst you've ever seen? Hyperbole much?
I have no idea how to judge throwing mechanics.4 said:Denton82TAMU86 said:

Yes, his delivery mechanics are some of the worst I've seen for a kid his age that was just signed to a program as big as Texas a&ms.

I wasn't impressed with a previous QB that no longer plays for A&M because I didn't think his throwing motion passed the eye test but I didn't come on here and predict his fate. He got the chance to prove himself and it didn't work out.
Fortunately you and 4 didn't get to pick who we signed. Reed may or may not work out but that is the way it goes.
