Both teams will be playing with wildly different levels of motivation.

The most recent time this happened I believe was when Bama played Michigan a few years ago. It is written in the SEC bylaws that any SEC team that doesn't make the playoff should immediately lose interest in their bowl game but show up anyway and just go through the motions. Therefore, any win over said SEC team in said bowl game is garbage and not worth a bucket of warm spit. Suck it Big 12.

Even if Bama kills Kansas State, that doesn't mean they are better than TCU. LSU beat Bama. Then we beat LSU. Are we better than Bama?
I LOVE K STATE plus the points in this one. Non playoff Bowl games are about figuring who wants to be there.
