The reason for the 2 pt conversion is protecting against A&M getting a FG. The three 2 pt conversions give you the 3 points to match instead of needing a 4th possession

Going for 2 is the correct analytics call. Win chance is much higher down 13 than 14. Still a 2 posession game if u don't get it.
Same logic logic as going for 2 up 7.
