If Fisher is going to give up the play calling and allow an OC to take over the offense, he really needs to announce that right after the game, even if he cannot say who that OC may be at that time. It is my opinion that this type of announcement is a necessity in order to help keep the Transfer Portal numbers lower.

Jimbo will make no such announcement, he still thinks that he is the best man for the job and nobody is going to convince him otherwise.

Saturday night at 11 pm is not the time to make that kind of announcement. Post game presser should only be about the game.
Tuesday 11 am I think he should come out and tell us how things are going be to better and different next year.
If he's thinking about. Next years coaching choices etc he is not game planning for LSU.
Ags are going to lose but he owes it to everyone to only worry about the game on Saturday.

Fisher is done here. This is exactly what happened with Sumlin when we were all excited about the DC search........and then the OC search........
Nothing will pan out and even if he does hire an OC it won't fix anything because the shine on Fisher has worn off and his days as an elite HC are done.

The most significant difference is Fisher signing of highly rated lineman on both sides of the ball. I only mentioned signing, not production or keeping them on campus. Sumlin seemed to place too much emphasis on skill position signees.

If Fisher is going to make a change then the players and recruits already know the plan. They may not know who but there's no way that stays in the dark. Our defensive recruits knew we were hiring LSUs DC weeks before it was public years ago. Do you really think Billy and Pate's "inside sources" know more than the players?
Why would Jimbo do anything new or different? He gets paid whether he wins, loses, or gets fired.
My dear Ag friends. It is not play calling that is the problem. It is offensive design. We are not creative, innovative, no deception, too predicable. Same on D. Please stop using the OC as a play caller as the solution unless a complete new PROCESS of how an offense is designed.
Jimbo must allow his offensive team to help design the offense based upon current talent, week to week adjustments, weakness and strengths of opponent, half time adjustments, etc.
I know of many coaches who won the 2nd half and the game due to major changes at half time.

I think that exact thing, and I assure you my IQ is well above that number.
This is a character flaw we're dealing with.
It wont be after the LSU game... if we are going to announce anything we will pull a tu and either do it during their bowl game (texas recruiting focused) or right before the conference championship games to control the headlines during the halftimes of those game(s) that will reach an have the most impact on viewing recruits.
