Our athletic department is a complete clown show. I don't really care if we change songs, but to do it because an artist has to be cancelled is a complete joke. The department was OK with a QB calling at least half the fans racist. They are OK using songs by artists who support (either through actions or lyrics) many other questionable behaviors. It should be pretty simple for the song in question. If the players want to keep it, then keep it. If they want to change, then find a new one. But I guess they have to worship at the high alter of wokeness. Sad...

Dude, just let the red herring tactic with what the source is go. Here is an LA times article that is quoting him word for word. And this video was available to everyone to watch. This isn't a "woke" or "leftist" position. The guy is clearly trying to blame his and the world's problems on Jewish people. He's clearly not all there and it's a prudent move by the university to finally distance themselves from him.

You need to read a little more carefully. My CNN comments were only about his CNN article about his album title. I don't know what Kanye said in his rants, and I really don't care. I didn't listen to his music before, and I won't listen to it now.

Any competent PR department at any school would drop a Kanye song right now. When he made the comments he did and is getting this kind of attention you don't play one of his songs, period.
