Remember that you are watching Aggie football and that literally anything could happen. We could beat Bama and lose out. We could lose to Bama and win out. Neither seem likely, but, really, you never know.

Are you new to following sports? If a couple of losses have you in this state, it may not be for you.

the 3 home games vs. Ole Miss, Florida, and LSU should be fun

and if the Ags play at a high level they have a shot to win

Look at it as week to week. With a young team like this, it could click at anytime. Also realize that there is a lot of season left and it's not out of the realm of possibility that they make a run. There is still a ton to play for. If Weigman gets to play, it will be pretty exciting.

I don't think that many of us realized, before the season, just how many young players would be getting significant playing time.

By just resigning to the fact that a NC is not possible and enjoy the game for what it is….1 min after the game ends it is history.

Saturday could be rough but should be downhill from there once Weigman starts against USCe. It will be a turning point in the season and hopefully we get through the rest of the season without 0-1 Ls.

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on this board. Did not see that coming.

I'm on Texags quite a bit. Some of it for info but also laughs. I watch and enjoy each game but I leave it behind once its over.

Live your Saturday doing fun or productive things. Then just watch the game for what it is, knowing a championship of any kind for most teams, much less us, is a rare thing. Just enjoy if we win and enjoy *****ing on texags if we lose. It gives us something to talk about anyways.

Managing expectations is difficult. Having watched Aggie football in 7 decades I've learned to not expect to win any game. I'm never disappointed. Life is just too short.

Before this season started, I predicted we would lose consecutive road games at Mississippi State and Alabama and win our last 6 games for a 10-2 regular season finish. But the embarrassing loss to Appalachian State at home significantly changed my expectations. Alabama will stomp us in Tuscaloosa and drop us to 3-3. The bye week could not come at a better time. The road game at South Carolina will be the most critical game of Jimbo Fisher's tenure at Texas A&M. I am expecting us to get through the rest of the season with no more than 2 additional losses for a 7-5 (4-4 SEC) or 8-4 (5-3 SEC) finish. 6-6 or worse will be considered disappointing for me.

There are 14+ hours of college football from11:00 AM to 1:00 AM every Saturday. During timeslots outside of our games, I watch the best matchup that is on Fox, CBS, or ABC. For example, I always watch SEC on CBS from 2:30 to 6:00, even if that game turns into a blowout. Then, in the evening, I usually watch whatever game is on ABC or Fox from 6:30 to 10:00. After those games end, I stream Pac-12 after dark games on YouTube until I go to bed at around midnight. Just enjoy the college football season while it lasts.
