Why does Dumbo provide a play-by-play of a game we all watched? Is this a stall tactic? Is this his way of trying to stay control of the situation … when he's obviously lost control of a team that clearly firm I strayed no level of competence? That's so annoying. His explanation of what to do to fix this team is so inane. It's mindless babble. We've heard the same thing for the last 4 years … with no real, substantive improvement in a non-COVID year. Does he realize this? Does he care how he is perceived? Does he know he's dragging this team and the fan base down the tubes with his arrogance and stubbornness?

The lap dogs won't tell him, because they're afraid they'll lose their spot at the trough. The guy makes $90,000,000, he must be smarter than every single person watching today's train wreck, screaming for a QB change.

Every head coach is also a politician. Have you ever heard a politician say anything of substance? Same thing, sadly. "We gotta work harder, coach better, and just make a few more plays" is all you're ever going to hear.

If Jimbo can't swallow his pride and realize he needs to use a new field general to lead this offense, then this season is done already.

Of course it doesn't help that our offensive line is hot garbage right now.

I understand having a play for every scenario, but at some point football is a game of physicality over fnese.

You can aspire to be a technical boxer, but you have to start with a mentality of "Let's just see who can hit harder and take more punishment." That's what App State came in today with, and we flinched.

Go back to basics and see who hits harder.

"That's on me". I hate that phrase. Taking verbal responsibility for a failure does no good unless you change YOUR behavior afterwards. "That's on me, and as a result I'm going to donate $1million to brazos county food bank" or whatever might mean something. Otherwise it is just words with no meaning nor consequences.

I truly hope our fanbase and decision makers can learn from this. We are so pathetic, in that we give national championship contracts for mediocre results. We did it with Sumlin, we did it with Jimbo.

Throwing infinite guaranteed money at a coach does not incentivize them to improve. I would've rather risked that Jimbo would leave (which he wasn't going to anyways) than give him this contract.

We need to all collectively be less insecure about no one wanting to coach here. This is a great place to coach football, and we deserve better.

THIS!! I am SICK of all the words and statements. And with Jimbo, he makes an insane volume of words and statements in just 2 minutes!!

Jimbo, you said it yourself. NO MORE EXCUSES!!!

You need to admit to yourself that your offensive system design is NOT WORKING! How many more QBs do you need??????????????????????????????????????

You are just praying for a random miracle at this point. The definition of insanity is how you approach change.

Same exact approach...same exact results. I question your IQ at this point.

Coach, see below list...

Give OC and play calling to your OC
Play to OL strengths
Play QB2 or QB3
Use Achane in same role as last season, bring in other backs
If someone fumbles, they sit rest of game (4 fumbles yesterday)
Same with PF. We gifted App State 5 1st downs and a TD with penalties
Have the play called and players set with play clock at :15 seconds. After a 1st down, get your :03 snap.

This is not a mission to Mars. It's football.

So I get it… but what do you want him to do, skip pressers after a losses? Sit there silently? I don't hear "excuses"- I hear highly detailed answers - they just suck to hear because it's not good.

Monty Tiffin had a productive quarterback in year one, so did Leach. How come our quarterback guru can't have one in five years? Does anyone have any idea how good our offense would be with Leach or Kiffin?

Maybe Jimbo is spending too much time on 44 Farms and other investments and less time in the film room!

And the other poster is right, taking responsibility doesn't mean anything if you don't change and there are no consequences. I agree with the food bank donation or money going anywhere but aTm athletics.

This. This right here. You get paid $9 million a year and have all the resources in the world for exactly that, so WTF have you been doing all year? Why weren't you coaching them better for the last 8-9 months? They look like you haven't coached them at all.

Those mistakes are not just little things! They are bigger than that! You guys did not play well,you got whipped on the line and tackled very poorly. These things are very fixable but if you guys really played well you should have stopped other team. They had the ball all day and we could not stop obvious short yd runs.

When the players in a post game presser say this will help them prepare better in the future you know the coach is not preparing them to win to start. 5 years in and they need to lose to a sunbelt team at home to know they gotta prepare? Laughable Just an awful coaching display so far this season.
