Wednesday night piano bar at The Tap was my favorite weekly spot. Though it's frat hangout (and I'm not a frat guy), I also liked Logan's on Northgate.
I spent my 52th birthday at The Tap on piano bar night. Two of my Aggie friends were with me, as well as my son and some of his friends. My son still has a video of that night on his phone. Obviously I have to be very nice to my son now.TexasLeaguer said:

I believe it was called "Club 2818".murphyag said:
Didn't there used to be a bar/disco at the Doux Chene apartments?

Definitely remember seeing members of the basketball team at Martini Street on several occasions. Did Martini Street turn into Rebel Yell or something like that? Think that was after my time.

They had an amazing Happy Hour, started with 4 for 1 and then 3 for 1 and finally 2 for 1 drinks.
Definitely not a favorite but it was on my bus route.

Thursday's at 11am at the chicken. Drinking beer before my 2pm lab. Talking to a dude who had his picture on the bird wall for the record of 59 beers drank in a day. Dude had some wild stories. Looked forward to that every week. Name was Forrest I believe.

I know who you are talking about! My dad went to college with him. Pretty sure that was Glen Baker. He said we were sitting at his table when we were playing 42. Sounded like a tough dude.

That's him! Haha. Old dude that was kind enough to share his stories with me and my new army buddies. He was there every Thursday during the day back in my 2012-16' days.
