Jasper was an Aggie Heart Award recipient and had a decent NFL career.
Anyone know the cause of his death?

Rough past few days for some former Aggie football players. Former RB Skip Walker passed away earlier this week, as well.

Here. I had the opportunity to play pick-up basketball with Ed Jasper a few times at the Rec. He was very nice to me. I really enjoyed talking to him about Aggie Football between games.

Very sad.

Very sad to hear this.

I used to play with Roper and Wallace at the Grove near Cain Hall. One time, Roper's sister (she played b-ball at A&M) and I beat the hell out of those two future NFLers. Fun times!

Ed would always come with Brandon Mitchell. All I could think about was how someone like a QB could take a hit from guys that big/athletic and not get hurt more often.

Here, such an excellent defensive lineman.
I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'
