2023 South Oak Cliff CB Jayvon Thomas commits to Texas A&M
Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M have been building steam with the 2023 class throughout the winter and spring months, so it was only a matter of time before the Aggies welcomed a new addition.
Today was the day, with Dallas (TX) South Oak Cliff standout CB Jayvon Thomas announcing his decision.
At 5-foot-11, 175-pounds, Thomas is a fast, physical, cover corner. He is well-schooled in his technique, and he is a leader and playmaker in one of the nation’s top high school secondaries at South Oak Cliff.
Thomas’ commitment makes him the sixth commitment of Texas A&M’s 2023 class, all from the state of Texas. He joins OL Colton Thomasson, DL Johnny Bowens DE Anthony James, P Tyler White and ATH Bravion Rogers in the class.
He is regarded as one of the nation’s best and is currently ranked No. 14 in the TexAgs 2023 Texas Top 100.
In addition to the Aggies, Thomas also holds offers from the likes of Arkansas, Baylor, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Stanford, TCU, Texas and USC.
We will have more breakdown soon for our TexAgs Premium subscribers.
