OU just announced it's unveiling a Baker Mayfield statue at its Spring Game this April. WTF is A&M doing that is taking so long to do the same for JFF?! It's been 10yrs since his Heisman. It's time to recognize the man for what he did.

Johnny isn't perfect. Nobody is. But he should absolutely have a statue on campus for what he accomplished. He took our program to new heights. They guy was seriously one of the greatest college football quarterbacks of all time (in the two years he played).

We need statues of Johnny Manziel, D X Bible and Homer Norton, and they need to be placed on the north plaza of Kyle Field

we also need monuments to all of the All American players, and special recognition to Joe Routt for his athletic and military service.

We have so many great players who need to be recognized in some significant way

Yeah, let's turn the football stadium into a medieval cathedral!

I guess if a former Yell Boy can get a statue of himself put up outside the stadium, why not go for the gusto?

I'd like to see a life-sized statue of Billy Pickard on his golf cart yelling at some student worker over his walkie talkie.

Just have the new Spence Park have a area for statutes of all Heisman winners. Start building for the two but leave room for many many more

Don't build statues of someone until they've died.

I had the same thought. Wait 25 years to make sure he doesn't do something abhorrent. Go ahead and put it on the schedule for 2050 though so he's forced not to die doing something stupid if he wants to see his statue go up.

My one request for the statue is that he be looking up to the sky, doing the money hands

This is a troll, right? I hope it is, but if not... He had the most electric season of any player in my lifetime, and debatably ever. The only one I've seen come close was Joe Bu, and if all he had done was win a major bowl game that wasn't a natty, he wouldn't even come close
