I agree- the Johnny saga might not be over. Best player I ever saw at A&M- but let's give it a little time.

If watching the Untold whitewash convinced you to put up a statue, you probably need to work on perspective…step back 10 years and look again…if he cleans it up, fine. If he Lindsay Lohans it up or Britney Spears it up you'll appreciate giving it a minute.

Johnny Manziel is the greatest ever Texas A&M football player. He single-handedly put Texas A&M on the national map and prompted an influx of funds from donors for the Kyle Field rebuild. In his freshman year in 2012, he completed 68.0% of his attempts for 26 touchdown passes against 9 interceptions for a 155.3 QB rating on his way to becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman. In 2013, he completed 69.9% of his passes for 37 touchdown passes against 13 interceptions for a 172.0 QB rating. We lost 4 games in 2013 because our defense struggled. We allowed 31+ points in 8 games, and we won 5 of those 8 games because of Johnny Manziel.

It is University policy not to erect statues until the person is deceased. That's the answer I got when I posted it to Ross Bjork ask the AD segment. Personally I think an exception should be made and we erect a statue immediately but not my or our call.

Based on the above statement it may be some time before that statue gets erected.

Until then, may I suggest an officially unlicensed Manziel body pillow to help with the anxiety.



Personally, I have never been a fan of human statues. The faces never look right.

I would think a set of statues with Manziel juking a few players would be cool.

Helmets on so the face is covered.

Football is just a game, and it's a game that brings in a lot of money.
