He is stating Bost will start, not that Haynes won't play.
There is nothing wrong with Bost being the "starting QB" and handling the first and maybe 2nd drive of the game, only to be replaced by King later in the game
I'd love to see Bost play, but it looks like King in the bowl.
Bost will play the majority of the snaps
We really need this bowl win to help with this years recruiting class - oh wait
I think we're gonna see a lot of guys playing for their spot on the roster next year in this bowl. Should be fun.

King maybe healthy enough to play, but is is he in playing shape? That may be what is holding a decision back.

But, I learned this season that you have to throw the screen pass 100 mph. Is King ready to give that effort?

Hopefully he can complete a screen pass, the one who transferred could not.

King should not play no matter what. It would be a real disaster if he got hurt again at this stage not to mention a medical red shirt.
Fisher will only start King if he is fully healthy. We don't need to rush him back only for him to get hurt worse. Who knows maybe Bost will have a hell of a game. I still don't understand the love affair with King. After his first 2 starts this season and like 4 or 5 interceptions not sure why everyone is so high on him. I hope King is the GOAT but it seems likely that Johnson will start next year with King or Weigman backing up.
If Bost does well I'll be so happy yet very disappointed

In his press conf, he said Haynes wouldn't play. He wouldn't be able to get in game shape with limited practice. And in his 4 years here, I haven't seen Fisher change qbs during a game. I expect him to run the ball like they have in every bowl game.
Because King could actually move around and put touch on the ball. He would've definitely progressed throughout the season. We're probably 10-2 with him at least.
Guess I'm not as sure with what I've seen yet. Hope he is a good as many here seem to think. Still believe it is Johnsons to lose next year.

Just for the purpose of being accurate: King played 1 game and 1 quarter of a second game. He threw 3 interceptions in the first game. He threw 2 passes in the second game. .
Bost is the starting quarterback. Haynes is practicing.

Kings only played in 2 games. Whether or not he plays in the bowl game it'll be a redshirt season for him. (Less than 4 games). Even tho he didn't play in 4 games last season it was a free year for everyone so he wouldn't have had to use a redshirt on that one for an extra year. He'll still be classified as a freshman next season. RS freshman.
