This time I say it with high expectation, rather than with a feeling of resignation and BAS.

I think next year we will see many of the 5*s on the field learning and being productive. 2023 will see all of them kicking butt. Natty time, I dare say??

I really hope the Ags can make the playoffs before any expansion happens. That's a club we want to be a part of. We never made a BCS game and that's a stain on our record.

I agree the next three years have the potential to be special. That said bama ain't going anywhere as long as saban is the coach. As great as our class is they are sitting right behind us. Their previous classes have been better. This is an absolute step in the right direction and could lead to that elusive natty but it will not be easy and playing in the same division as the goat will still make it very difficult to win it all. But for the first time ever I like our chances.

At the end of the 2020 season it was 2022…now 2023? At the end of the 2022 season it will be 2024 at a minimum…right.

I don't get that... It's not like our recruiting class blows Bama's out of the water so why say that anything less than a division title is a failure. We might, maybe, for once, have a more talented team, but only if we beat them again in recruiting next year and these players pan out, but we aren't gonna be streets ahead. And while I think Jimbo is amazing, Saban is the goat.

At the end of the 2020 season, "go time" was immediate, and it still is. After breaking through in 2020, I expect top 10 rankings on a regular basis. I'll cut some slack for this year since we had to lean on a backup QB with a knee brace and a shoulder that could flop around like a tube man outside of a car dealership.

Obviously not. But it's embarrassing that we gave Jimbo a blank plaque when he got hired. Need to fix that mistake.

2023 will be our 12th season in this division. Jimbo's 6th season. How long should it take? Aggie coaches don't generally get more time than that to prove themselves.

This year we were 3-4 guys away from a title. Our defense was good enough.

Win 10 games the next two seasons. And keep doing it forever after that. For the next two season, its fine even if its 10-3.

But again, they're ironclad. It doesn't matter who gets hurt or any of the surrounding events; now you have depth. Stack 10 win seasons or it will be disappointing. We can talk about the playoff and titles afterwards.

Let's be clear, it is easier to get a playoff spot than to win the West. We will probably do both at the same time, but otherwise not sure which comes first.

Winning the NC won't happen next year. It may happen in 2023 or 2024. If not, then I would be disappointed. Next year will be a good year when we see how good these studs really are.

I just hope the zoo can return to its glory of a decade ago when we had threads like "the coronation of JFF", cuppycake drops, lazy river design class, and the Benjamin Knox knockoffs (who did those, I forget)

We need OG zoo this off-season if we are going to dominate in 2022.

I know it probably makes the rest of y'all happy, but I'm sad that the big aggie non-conference game in 2024 is Notre Dame. As a former student and an ND alum, I'm not going to enjoy quite as much the shellacking the Aggies put on the Irish. I will, however, enjoy us thumping Miami in '22 and '23.
