2-4 against the West (5th place)
4-4 in conference play. Thank god we got Mizzou and USC this year

10 years into SEC play and we have finished 4th or 5th in the West … 7 times

If we make the Citrus Bowl on Jan 1 does that change how disappointed everyone is right now? This year was completely different than any other yr since the CFP started. A lot more 1 and 2 loss teams in Top 15 than ever before. A lot of Top 10 teams barely won quite a few games. Georgia clearly ran away with #1 spot. We had close games with a very young team. Not really that bad when you look at how many kids we had playing that played last season in HS, playing against veteran filled teams. We are headed the right direction. I am with Jimbo through the contract... through the good and bad.

This season was the most bizarre college football season in years since I could remember.

Why do people think there are only two possible outcomes of a season? National Championship or 8-5? We're not Auburn. We're not going to fluke into random titles and go back to 8-5.

Build the program. The expectation for me is putting up 10-3 seasons back to back back. Plenty of leeway and plenty of upside.

It's a disappointing season because we've been waiting for a dynamic QB for years and once we finally had him starting, we lost him for the season in game two. "wait 'til next year" gets a bad rap, but with the talent and depth we'll have at QB and the skill positions as well as the talent coming in on defense to replace the guys who are leaving, the program is moving in the right direction.
