I knew when they blew it on third and deep that they were going to lose this game. This defense is inconsistent. That ultimately comes down to coaching: too many times has team has been unprepared and lacking drive.

Crew went back to pee-yew very quickly.

I somewhat agree, but I guess I'm in the minority on this. There were some questionable play calls throughout the year - I'll give you that. But, Calzada just flat out sucks! He played out of his mind for Bama and then he didn't do sh!& these other games. I mean heaven forbid, we beat Auburn without an offensive TD!

Here were his season stats (11 gms):
Total yds: 1,943
Comp %: 56.0
TDs: 14
INTs: 9

These numbers blow a$s for 11 games

This team was expected to compete for the SEC west this season, but finished 2-4 in it.

Season could have been worse, but also could have been better. Paying a head coach $9 million a year means it SHOULD be better, and based on results, it was a failure.

Aggreed. At the time King went down Jimbo should have dusted off the 2018 Mond playbook and just ran the ball playing clock control to protect the defense and don't ask the QB to do too much type offense. Instead he turned gunslinger and had an ill equiped Calzada throw when we had two 1000 yrd backs waiting to carry the team. It would have turned out a lot better because Elko for the most part was nails when he had time to adjust.

Mond could run, so it added more dynamics, Calzada would get run down by the ball boy.
