That's really about all I care about at the moment

We're 5-5 against Auburn since joining the SEC and 7-5 overall including winning the last two, I don't think Auburn is really that much better of a program than A&M overall and certainly isn't trending that way for the future. Auburn isn't any more big boy football than we are. What a weird hill to die on.

There's also a Big 6 in the entertainment hotties world that Jack frequents. He's currently trying to get a date with Sophia Loren, Betty Davis, or one of the ither 4 we cant remember.

Let's see there's Original 6 (NHL), Pick 6, Stop 6 in Ft Worth, Nikki Sixx...never heard Big 6 in the SEC.

btw, we ran a reverse early this year (forget the opponent) also with reserve players.

The Big 6 was a precursor to the Big 8. Auburn wasn't a part of it.

However AU did lose to SC. Umphhhh.

The only big 6 in sports I know of is when you hit it really far in cricket

Just checked the 2021 SECCG matchup in Atlanta. Hmmm, it's UA vs UGA another Big 6 affair. It's a tradition, get used to it. Nice little try tho. Serious question, what country are you from?
Because in this country, Big 6 SEC teams win huge games in the regular season and the post season...

Here's the data. Since 1964 SIX Teams have won EVERY SEC Football title. Shouldn't be hard to understand. It's called ON-FIELD PRODUCTION and not flapping your yaps behind a keyboard. Win the SEC and a Natty and then you can bump your bumpkin gums. Now you know....

You've obviously never lived in SEC states that have actually accomplished something on the football field. I have. My little league team in Houston had Aggie Colors (South Main Mustangs) and produced many ORIGINAL WRECKING CREW AGS. My wife is from Birmingham, we met in New Orleans and we live in SFL. I'm the biggest t-shirt Aggie fan in SFL. So GFY.

However,my fandom doesn't make me a meathead who thinks that a down year or two from AU / LSU / UF all of a sudden makes them Baylor or Rice. That's LAUGHABLE and a joke. Especially when A&M can't beat the MS schools. Get some self awareness, learn your conference and show some respect for programs that actually win sh*t....The lack of self awareness here is STARTLING but not surprising...Gig Em Ags Whoop!

Auburn's been a "big boy" in the SEC for quite some time. We're competing above their level now, but for a long time, the road to the SECW has gone through Bama, LSU, or Auburn. We're seeing a changing of the guard where TAMU will soon be in that conversation, but until we can consistently beat them year in and year out, they'll be "big boys".

Back on point, past results are only likely to equal future results if the circumstances are the same.

It's possible that no football program's circumstances have turned more favorable than Texas A&M's, and that started in the mid-to-late '60s and is about to result in - among other good things - the best facilities in college football getting another sequence of upgrades.

It ain't like it used to be.

I'm all for that. Jimbo's recruiting is ridiculous. The guys he's plucking from here in SFL and nationally has never happened at A&M before. I plan on being in Atlanta when the AGS win the SECW. However, I'm an Aggie fan who's firmly grounded in reality. In SEC Country, my Bama wife and LSU and FL buddies look at A&M like this - We're not Big 6. We still ARE Baylor, MSU and Ole Miss to them. So you better be able to have an intelligent football conversation outside of what's in the trophy case. Our on-field production is trending nicely but not on Big 6 level yet.

My wife would disown me for defending AU but, anyone who thinks that an SEC school that recruits heavily in FL, GA & AL with the two toughest RIVALRY games in CFB (DSOR & Iron Bowl) is somehow TTU or OKST after a down year is kidding themselves. The kid Schwartz who took it to the house in my video is from right here in Broward County.
And they've won with coaches who ain't the greatest...

Anyhow, run the damn ball, the backup QB doesn't need to be a hero and BTHO LSU! Gig Em!

Looks like they've got fertile recruiting grounds and trophies from winning the best CFB conference in America. We've been in the SEC for a decade now. Overnight was 2012-2015. Mizzou sucks but, they've been to Atlanta twice already during that time. Bama lost to SC in 2010. UGA lost to SC in 2019. Big Deal. In the SEC, sucking means NEVER making an appearance in Atlanta.

Look, if you want an award for pointing out we haven't won the SEC yet….ok, here's your cookie.

Nah, I'm a realist actually. Just not enamored with the past. My eyes are forward, not backward, because the field it gets settled on is in front of us, not behind us.

Fairly certain Dabo didn't concern himself with Clemsons past as he was building it there.
Bowden at FSU. Saban at LSU. And the like.

Jimbo has that on tape now. If it gives an LSU LB pause for split second on two or three plays, those plays could be difference in our game. May actually run the play as well against LSU.

We have to make them one dimensional. Play run like second half against Ole Miss and we win, first half run D and we lose.
