Ol Miss is the spoiled brat jerk in every 1980's movie. I hope we put a Texas-sized beatdown on them.

Have you been?

Old school I'm guessing. Go back 50 years and everyone was wearing suits to every game.

My neighbor in Maine is an ole Miss grad and lives in Oxford most of the year. Couldn't be a nicer guy and I've met one hell of a lot of great folk from MS coming through Maine in the summer.

That said. Most of these folk are older so I don't know how the younger generation is acting. But the older Revels get a thumbs up from me.

Ole miss attire goes back to the 60's (bow ties and sports coats). Our goes back to the 50's (milkmen) and grapes of wrath era (overalls). I've been an Ag for a long time and they seem less weird than us.

It seems fine to me

Fall '79 - Fall '83 the girls that had a football game date with BQ's always wore a dress. Hair & makeup was spot on. The girls that had a date with Corps Turds did the same. I always liked it.
Fall 83 - Fall 86: BQ dates wore dresses and we would purchase them a mum for the game. We would wear class A summers (Long sleeves and ties) or Class A winters.

Football games were considered formal events.

No BQ date ever looked like that.

For football, tailgating in the Grove is awesome

Sounds like you are a little bitter. Not much luck with the ladies aye?

I've spent the last two days in Oxford and the talent is ridiculous. As my wife said, "everyone here is beautiful." It's very much like a ski town, in that everyone is "on" all the time - the women are well cared for and the men are groomed, for lack of a better word. For being in BFE, there are a ton of out of staters. Everyone is extremely polite and friendly. This has been the best road trip I've been on since we've been in the SEC.

You are the one who would wear boots, jeans, and a polo to games. Sounds pretty fratty to me
