When you don't get into A&M or Texas, your choices are Tech private or out of state. Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss are happy to be the backup plan for those Texans

Depends, frequently pledges at fraternities have a game day "uniform" and it usually involves a sport jacket. Remember, most of these schools have had fraternities and sororities for a long time. A&M, not so much.

Lots of Texas kids who didn't get into A&M or UT end up going out of state to Ole Miss, Arkansas, LSU. Those schools offer more $ merit scholarship than A&M or UT.
