Agreed! So sick of seeing horns down on the TV. Unless we are playing TU, keep it to Gig'em. Are they that much in our heads? Good grief.

Every time the camera panned to the TCU crowd when they were beating Baylor, there were multiple fans doing horns down.

As soon as the refs made it a penalty, it was inevitable that it would become prolific even when tu isn't on the field. It's the let's go brandon to the sip-owned big 12 leadership.

We could sing the 2nd Vera of the War Hymn, but it sucks.

Gig'em has 2 origination stories. Football vs TCU and Pisshead giving out rams (gigs) to freshman.

Promoting yourself is always a better option, which is why 18-22 year old idiots doing a Gig'em is better than 18-22 year old idiots whorns down. Either way.... they're 18-22 year old idiots. We all were.

War hymn is a 100 year old tradition. Sips song has us in it too

Agree with OP.
Why make them relevant?

Horns down is stupid. Especially when we aren't playing them and when they haven't been in our conference in a decade.

Just makes our school appear obsessed with an inferior program. We're trending up. They're trending down. Why bring them into the conversation??

You're clearly missing the point. Everyone supports doing it while playing the sips. It just doesn't make sense to do it in the background of the SEC Country broadcast during the Auburn pregame.

Why bring any awareness to TU during such an event. Little brother syndrome is embarrassing.

We are the better school, team and program. Act that way.

The South Carolina game was my first game in over two years. Every single screenshot of fans showed fans doing horns down…without exception. This is now clearly inculcated into the game-day culture of younger Ags whether we like it or not… and it isn't going away.

Horns down is getting the Ags made fun of by all other fan bases. If you play them shoot the horns down all day. When you are not playing them, we are still focused on them?? This isn't our hand sign, so why the hell do students keep doing this. Most of these students have never seen A&M play Texas or they don't remember it anyway. We are A&M. We are not attached to Texas...cut the cord!
