Did we ever come to a consensus on how the ranking system works?

4-3-2-1-5 means you'd bang the fourth girl first then the third girl then the second, first, and fifth.

Or does it mean I'd bang girl number four first then girl number 3 then girl number 2, etc.

Remember there being a discussion on this but I can't remember which side prevailed. I've always used method 1 but think I remember a strong argument for both sides.
