Loved the game. Loved the effort. But there is an issue with Spoiler that I have had for a while...

Stop dancing to find a different hole to run through... it does two things:

It allows the defenders time to find you and bring you down.
It keeps their linebackers healthy in the second half

This is why our rushing attack weakens towards the end and the other team can keep running.

Find the whole quickly and run full speed into it. Yes, they may stop you. But by the end of the 3rd, they are tired of getting hit by you. They are tired and sore because you have run into them all game. Change plans when it is obvious... otherwise run right into them.

I just emailed the RB coach.

I love how Preston raised his hands in celebration even while Achane was in line with the Bama defenders. He knew they didn't have a chance in hell staying with him. Love that elite speed.
Also Preston and Achane were level at the 40, Granted Preston has no incentive to ALL Out sprint, but is 5 yards behind Achane when they cross the goal line.
No one can catch Achane

Spiller's vision is great.. he doesn't need to change a thing, also great hands/receiver… all that said, Bama #4 Robinson is the better NFL back.
Spiller and Robinson will both be at the next level, but Spiller makes more with less consistently than anyone I have ever seen (bar Barry Sanders - as already mentioned on this board).

Imagine Spiller behind that Bama front? Or with last season's O-line. The kid is Special!

Just so I understand the story, the OP has the phone icon. So you wan us to believe that you let your nephew have your phone, and what he decided to do was write a post on Texags about Spiller not hitting the whole/hole hard enough, basically?

I didn't realize Jussie Smollett was a Texags poster.
just fyi, phone icon is the default icon.

Yeah, when you post from a phone.

OP and his nephew both suck at spelling. They also both love elipses…

Tamu32 deserves the spotlight here. But comments like this may give you unwanted notoriety as well.

point being, and i've said this for years, that the hardest handoff to defend is a full speed draw directly into the line and LB's

Almost every defender around line of scrimmage will be focused on the ball carrier at some point and when you try to run away from them it only allows them to stay healthy throughout the game

When the RB just runs vertical full speed into a brick wall, he will almost ALWAYS have a huge
advantage on the defender who only has a 40-100lbs on him, they will become tired and sore when you run right into them all game hard and fast through no holes

It's time we start using this a bit more.

PLEASE don't ever coach. Spiller knows what he's doing, CLEARLY.

Just stopped by to give Achane some tips on running speed: move your legs and arms faster. You won't be disappointed.

I don't know if there is a player I trust more on the team in crunch time than Spiller.

Yes, That was my point.
Spiller is a known commodity and potentially the first RB taken in next year's draft.
He is and was and will be a star.
