I'm hurting just like everyone else.... I thought we were going to have a special year and this ****ing sucks. But we lost our starting QB in game 2. He was the guy everyone said was the leader of the team that all the players gravitated towards.

Then Calazada steps in and is completely over his head from the get-go. what have you seen from Calzada that resembles any kind of competent QB play since he took over? The game is just too big for him. He's proven it time and time again. If we all see it, how do you think the team feels? He had clear opportunities both this week and last to win the games and he **** the bed each and every time.

So why is everyone freaking out? we all know calzada sucks and then he goes out and proves us right. Sometimes you catch bad breaks (Literally in this instance) that completely changes the trajectory of a season but that doesn't mean the program is ruined.

This season is going to be rough with a lot of growing pains. No, it wasn't supposed to be but **** happens. So nut up and deal with it

last year's ol was pretty meh in 2019. i think aki, fatheree, foster and robinson can develop into something. the staff failure is having to rush them out there before they are ready.

even with those issues, if we had a competent qb, we'd be 5-0. We'd still be heading into a slaughter, but we'd be 5-0. Calzada is that bad.

I like when people say, "but we will be so much worse on defense next year because we lose experience."

If the current defense starters are so good, why don't we win with them?

How is that the case? We lose green and what else? This line is inexperienced and will take time to learn and gel. That will hopefully happen the rest of the year.

But you can't blame them when your dip**** QB continuously bails out of a clean pocket and runs himself into pressure

I am looking forward to Weigman arriving but I think we are being delusional if we think the Oline will be significantly better next year after being destroyed the rest of this season.

Regardless, bottom line, do you understand that we can't compete worth a **** in the SEC this season?

Do you understand this is not Jimbo's first year and we shouldn't rely on 2/5 of the line being true freshmen?

Clearly you don't if you think Calzada is ever in any race again. Only race he's in against is King returning and being replaced by a walkon

This program is on a straight nose dive, we peaked last year as sumlin did with the cotton bowl. Texas will be in the sec next year taking recruits this year, our opportunity to keep them at bay has been squandered and to think this program has any history of relevancy is laughable. A former middle

Young players that are actually good make a few mistakes here and there but they also show signs that they can play at an SEC level. What specifically have you seen that shows you the OLine can do that? The QBs we have? Your wishful thinking is getting the best of you.

Every team has injury issues. The good ones have depth to overcome those issues. We apparently don't. WHY NOT?? Liberal transfer rules unlike ever before, the 4th year of a regime, and we still can't field a team better than what we had in the mid-2010s.

A 6 win season this year is NOT out of the question.

Because it proves our game managers are not able to adapt with the resources they are dealt. And that is a huge part of being a winning coach (s) that make top dollar in the industry.

Yep. Should have not let those other guys have career ending injuries and should have gotten more 4 and 5 star guys from the transfer portal. Good o-linemen are literally a dime a dozen.

The poster is projecting this year into our entire future. Get a grip. Look out for the realistic possibility of Fisher being Coach of the Year next year. This year was never going to be as good as hyped.

I don't think posters are as far out and insane in real life as they are on the net, but having such emotional outbursts even under anonymity is not healthy.

There is literally nothing anyone on here not on coaching staff or roster can change.
