OK. Who you want?

I don't want anybody different as much as I want Fisher to do what he was hired to do...win it all. This is yet another year where that won't happen.

You do realize that 20+ programs are in the same boat every year?
Those programs are not locked into failure for 10 years at 9 million per year.

My only question is who do all you potbangers want to go hire? We literally have on of the top 5 coaches in college football and you still aren't happy?

I'm not calling for him to be fired, and I agree there's not a good replacement out there right now, but I think a lot of people are tired of the sunshine pumpers who preached nonstop how he deserved to be the second highest paid coach in CFB after just an Orange Bowl win, or just the nonstop "STFU!" to anyone who criticizes him or doubts that he's the savior of A&M football. It's a bit absurd as I can't think of any other profession where you get a raise when you haven't even performed the task you were hired for.

What the hell does Darrell Dickey actually do??
Is he just a YES MAN or does he speak up when things are going badly??
When the product on the field looks that bad, someone (on the staff) needs to answer for it. Seriously.

Well then you are completely oblivious to the real world and what the goal is. The goal is to win games and get us in contention for a national title.

You can't coach up a kid who is playing past his level of competence. The more disturbing thing is why is a guy like calzone all we got. What an absolute kick I'm the shorts to everyone else on the team. How can anyone think that kid can play at this level? He clearly can't. Everyone knows it.

If he was good, he would have transferred and be starting somewhere else.

I don't think anyone *****ing watched the game. We gave up 2 big plays, then adjusted like good coaches do.n Then got an unlucky interception and behind a young oline and inexperienced QB, couldn't move the ball against a super senior flush team. Everyone take a deep breath.

You are talking to a group of people who have all built championship teams on the beginner level of PlayStation. These guys know stuff.

And you must be completely oblivious to what I wrote, as he was hired to beat Alabama, win the SEC, and win at least one national championship. He's never even been competitive with Alabama, and hasn't achieved the other tasks and won't this year as well. Yet he still got a raise and an extension.

The big initial contract was understandable, as that's what it took to bring him here. But the raise and extension was premature, just like what we did with Sumlin. Now we are in year 4, where he is solely responsible for the program, and we appear to be regressing beyond just "reloading" and his playcalling is suspect.

Calzone has to be one of the lowest football IQ guys I've seen play QB at this level in a long time.

Arkansas coach had his boys fired up and ran over the Ags in the first half.

Ags looked flat and unprepared.

That's all coaching.

You could tell from the body language of some of those guys on O that they have 0 trust in Calzada. Green had a WTF look on that play when he tripped and sacked himself.

Did you listen to the post-game interview? Also hard to call a lot of runs in the 4th quarter, down 2 scores.

29-11 in the SEC West taking over from Sumlin's decline. Yeah let's get rid of Jimbo

Sumlin started 33-11. The Mississippi schools and South Carolina were all better in those years than they have been since Jimbo got here. Same was true with Arkansas up until today. Auburn and LSU, combined, have been ROUGHLY the same. Bama goes without saying, though Sumlin did beat them and Jimbo hasn't.

You can't argue with his recruiting achievements. This is one clear case where if a head coach brings in the right coordinator and lets them take over in their area, he MAY see better results. That rarely works, but I think it would work here. As stated above, his offense has to change. Our defense may be decent but it isn't top 20 against SEC size and speed.

Why does his offense have to change? Because it doesn't look good with a backup QB? The RPO game is probably the most prevalent system out there right now.

What makes him a Top 5 coach. We have recruited well, but Jimbo hasn't done anything as our coach to deserve a designation as a Top 5 coach.

I am not ready to get rid of him, but the contract extension and raise was ludicrous. He didn't deserve the original contract.

How about recruiting capable QB's? Who's next in line if he should go down? Answer this. You ***** at others opinions but offer nothing. What a joke,

As some of y'all know, and some of y'all will soon enough learn, I thoroughly enjoy the art of digging into the depths of this forum and finding the most insufferable threads to bump a year after they were created. Few things bring me as much pleasure as watching all of the cliff jumpers eat crow.

And man. Y'all have not disappointed. Just some absolutely killer content. This forum has become an oasis in a cliff jumping drought caused by Jimbo winning 11 games straight.

Truly I tell you, the bumps shall be glorious.

Some are so dumb on this board…troll like dumb.

Jimbo knows he has a chit OL and a QB that can't process too much w happy feet. He'd love to be able to run the ball and elim Calazada from being a liab.

The issue is why is the cupboard so bare at our QB position (why didn't stowers pan out) and why do we lack OL depth and preparedness.

How is it that other coaches always seem to exploit our team's weaknesses with a much lower salary and team talent, but we can't find their team's weaknesses and exploit them? And why couldn't our coach realize what was going on by the second quarter and make adjustments to his play calling?

Oh right, that's what you call outcoached.

Poor OL and weak QB play. Injuries. No Fisher's fault.

It's totally his fault/ responsibility.

Yes, Jimbo holds complete and total accountability on this. His team is unprepared to play offensively.

Elko is earning his pay. Jimbo is NOT. I am still VERY PISSED off about the BoR decision to give him a salary raise hand-out before the man earned it!!!! And what you are seeing on the field this season is exactly why you do not give an extension based PURELY on SPECULATION. Mark my words....at the end of this season no one in the right mind will think a raise was well deserved.

Will he eventually earn it? I sure as hell hope so!! But that ain't happening this year based on the mess that is our offense. He has FAILED 100% at developing a quality backup QB and this is supposedly Jimbo's strength. Again this is 110% on Jimbo Fisher. And he was completely out coached this game. I do not care what Lucci thinks in his attempts to cover up for this bad on the field product. I can already hear him coming to the defense of our team on the radio waves. Unacceptable especially for the 2nd top paid coach in football.

If it's not your money paying Jimbo's salary, no one cares if you think he's paid too much.
