Maybe the current students are tired of the b.s. targeting calls we always seem to get. Ticky-tack b.s. needs to be called out. There's nothing intimidating about a "horse laugh" & kids hear worse on an almost daily basis

I'm not above it (as a matter of fact, I'm not proud of how foul my mouth is at work) and do so around certain adults that are comfortable with it and hold my tongue around those who aren't.

The house laugh isn't always clean thing. The origin of that yell originally ended with a "Ha-a-a-a-a-a-a-a." It evolved into ending with blowing a raspberry, then eventually a hiss.
So it's either a loud obnoxious, mocking, laugh; a fart sound; or a hiss. None is really higher class than saying "B.S" don't pretend like it is.

Yea, some low rate school like A&M at Kingsville. Things that players say to each other is one thing, a bunch oflittle boys and girls being vulgar in public is another!

I feel like writing an open letter to a bunch of college kids will usually have the opposite affect of what you want.

This kind of goes both ways in my opinion:

Chanting BS is classless and immature and should not occur in Kyle.

The Hiss does not get the 12th man's displeasure across effectively either.

The yell leaders or whoever controls them, needs to have them conduct more yells throughout the game so that the 12th man isn't sitting idly and creating their own chants. Or the yell leaders need to come up with something that's more impactful than the Hiss. Every yell started at some point, come up with something new and be more engaged with the crowd. If they lose the ability to lead yells with the 12th man and drum up the right crowd response at the right time, then yeah, why not have cheerleaders?
