2023 Swedish TE Theodor Melin Öhrström commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M continues to add key pieces to the 2023 recruiting class, going international for the most recent addition. Tight end Theodor Melin Öhrström earned an offer from the Aggies after a strong summer camp performance, and now he has decided to commit to Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Swedish standout is an all-around weapon at tight end with a high ceiling. His size and overall athleticism are quick to draw attention as is his large catch radius and body control.
His abilities made him one of the hottest prospects of the summer as he toured the country with Premiere Prospects International (PPI). In addition to Texas A&M, he received offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Florida State and others.
Texas A&M tight ends coach James Coley led the Aggies’ recruiting efforts, and the Aggies immediately caught Melin Öhrström’s attention. Coach Coley’s abilities were a key attraction to Öhrström, as well as the growth, development and production of tight ends in Texas A&M’s offense.
His commitment brings Texas A&M’s 2023 recruiting class to four members as he joins QB Eli Holstein, OL Colton Thomasson and DE Anthony James.
