You guys are too much. How was Jimbo supposed to know he would lose his starting QB and center to season ending injuries? He gets a pass for this season for sure.

So I guess based on your logic then Jimbo gets a pass whenever the injury bug rises up? So a HC is not responsible for having his team ready when 2nd and 3rd string players are asked to become starters?

He should have the players more prepared to step in and play to a much better performance standard. And sometimes this may mean that you adapt as a coach in order to make things easier for less experienced players. Or do you just force feed everything to players who are clearly being asked to do too much? And do you just keeping doing it game after game?

I don't have that answer and yes maybe I am asking too much of our coaching staff. But I do keep continually hearing how Jimbo is a Top 5 coach. Great, glad we have one of the best coaches in college!!! Now for the hard part....Jimbo has to prove it here at AGGIELAND. I could care less about what the man did 10 years ago. This is not FSU, this is not the ACC, and college football has changed drastically.

That is ultimately my point. Fisher at the point in his career at A&M had not proven it. Has he done well in recruiting and had a single great season? YES. But this certainly does not proof that he is one of the elite coaches at this PRESENT time. Jimbo clearly has some of his own coaching development to focus on. In fact, Jimbo has admitted so much at every press conference this year.

I am absolutely not saying we should replace Jimbo. Far too early to jump to that conclusion given the investment the school has made. I sure as hell hope this year is simply a wrinkle and he got caught with his pants down. But what I see on the field right now is at least as bad as Sumlin's worse team. And hard to argue against that right now. Yet all the Fisher ass lockers do not seem to like the comparisons to Sumlin.

Maybe at the end of the year this will change and Jimbo rights the ship. I am very doubtful and obviously quite pessimistic about that. But I sure hope so.
