First reaction was lol. Still is tbh. A&M was never thought to have the stones to make the move to the SEC. After it did then it was never supposed to work out. Now the sips are knocking on the door desperate to be let in. Lol.

Nobody gets the game hasn't been played yet because TAMU wants an equal share of the Public University Fund.the oil well that generates millions of dollars a year for Texas and Texas A&M.and Texas has a bigger share. The game was leverage to even it out, 50/50 split. Texas refused, and they're getting their way. The game and the funds. This is why you should be mad.

Nobody is ever going to exchange PUF for an athletic favor. We wouldn't. They won't. It would never happen. Ever. The academic side would overrule athletics and say "pick something else. Call the Big Ten. Call the Sun Belt. We don't care who you call but you aren't touching PUF." So if you are mad about losing that opportunity you can get un-mad since that was never going to happen.

1. The distribution of the PUF is a Constitutional requirement. The Texas Constitution change would need a vote by Texas voters to change it.

Shoot it was an article in the Texas Tribune, that game was our chip and it got pissed away. You can say I was on something but it was leading that way. It was a sit and wait game, and we lost
