We don't know that for sure. Sharp and Banks have been silent.BAS65 said:

I undersand being POd, upset, not liking it, etc. But how would UGA react if FSU and Clemson were joining? How would FL react if FSU and Miami were joinnig?
You are completely delusional to think that a school with the resources of Texas would never be able to recover if they were kept out of the SEC. I'm sorry but that's just never going to happen. They have the money, the history, and most importantly the boosters who want to win to always be lurking around the corner. The fell back b/c they made some bad coaching hires, not b/c we joined the SEC. It's no different than what happened here when we hired Fran to replace Slocum.Agsrback12 said:
We were so close. 9-1 and the only SEC school in Texas with tu about 10-15 years from NEVER being able to recover and here we are. Lifeline in play and we have our own calling this a great thing. Well. On a positive note, we are quite used to it and should not surprise a soul.

As I said, they made bad coaching hires. You can have all the advantages in the world but if you hire the wrong coach it's not going to matter.BadAggie said:Dr RC said:You are completely delusional to think that a school with the resources of Texas would never be able to recover if they were kept out of the SEC. Yet in spite of those advantages they sucked. Even have their own network. Lol
Why did the make bad coaching hires? Because their first choices didn't want anything to do with the toxic culture on the 40 acres, that's why.Dr RC said:You are completely delusional to think that a school with the resources of Texas would never be able to recover if they were kept out of the SEC.
