After the shock of it all.....I'm against it in TODAY's college football climate.

But today is not tomorrow. The landscape of college football is changing. NIL is just the tip of the iceberg...the SEC will the addition of Texas and OU (along with the rest of the major schools) are incredibly powerful. Hell, the SEC could leave the NCAA with that kind of power.

Honestly, with the grand shift of the have and have nots about to occur, I think long term, its not the worst thing to ever happen. Texas wants to play again, eff it. Bring it.

If this happens then I am so glad I decided last year to stop participating in paying for Aggie sports due the actions and behavior of some of the athletes. The administration sucked.I will be really free now.

Does everyone here (A&M and SEC) seem to completely forget the insults and slanderous comments by Deloss Dodds and everyone associated with t.u towards the SEC and A&M when we left their pathetic azzes?
F-ING NEVER!!!!
If John Sharp and the newly anointed A&M President just let this happen...both should be immediately FIRED and sued for dereliction of their responsibilities for blatant FAILURE to PROMOTE, PROTECT, and ENHANCE THE A&M BRAND.

initial emotional reaction....Hell no.

After thinking about it in a business sense. Let's face it, SEC is getting the first bite at the apple of conference realignment for the next 30-40 years. These are the two of the biggest names available to grab other than Notre Dame (we all know ND to SEC will NEVER happen). OSU and Michigan aren't leaving the Big10. We could shoot for poaching UNC, Clemson, VT, Louisville, or FSU....but they are all second tier compared to OU and t.u. There aren't other viable options. College football is going to 64 Power teams, might as well have the absolute best conference and a Saturday TV/Streaming calendar full of even more fun matchups to watch.


OU sure, it would make Saturdays even more interesting.
t.u. - I remember beating their asses in the late 80s -early 90s. It would be fun to do again.
