Lots of people will get hit with the okey doke sauce this year.

2:02 880 yards as 16 year old in 1976. Not sure what that is in meters, like 2:04 maybe. 52:05 quarter, 4.6 40. I'll have faster times in 5 more years..., isn't that how it works?

Have to respect two-sport athletes that work as hard as Devon does. Bringing times down in a sprint means accepting coaching and executing on training. I've heard upper body strength is extremely valuable for the pumping of arms for more burst especially off the blocks. And similarly there is an emphasis on training fast twitch muscle responses. All this and running efficiently can spillover into football. But regardless it demonstrates Achane's willingness to work hard to represent Texas A&M!

Post your Texags 100m best times : )
I unfortunately never ran 100m as things where still yards when I was a kid.
I was so slow coach used a sundial to clock my 100.
I was so slow my coach used to tell me I couldn't run out of sight in the middle of the night.

Ryan Swope had a 100m time around 10.7, and never though looked slow on the field.
So this Achane kinda fast.

Well good news for you! 880yds is 804.672 meters, so you ran a 2:01 800, not a 204.

Swope was deceivingly fast. I never saw him get caught from behind and often he out ran SEC secondary defenders.

I thought that he had the potential to be an impact player at the next level.
If your mile relay team ran 2:18.2, you still hold the world record and it will never be broken.Houstonag said:
5.5 50 yds, 10.00 100 yards, 48.7 440, 1:55.2 880.
Relays: Mile. 2:18.2 ; 4X110 42.1 : State meet places but no first. We won all at regionals.

That's called " he gone speed"
Personally I liked the bowl announcer against NC...
"...and NOBODY is gonna catch him!"
And he was always carrying a lunchpail with him, which you'd think would slow him down.AgStuckinLBK said:LatinAggie1997 said:

The only reason why his speed was deceiving was that he was white.
