A calzada sounds delicious right about now.

It will be King. Fastest player on the team and is a playbook nerd.
Achane is busy with track and probably isn't participating in spring ball, so you're both correct?Jbob04 said:JPK89 said:Jbob04 said:

Ummm, Achane.
Ok almost the fastest guy. TexAgs radio said King had the fastest 40 time this spring. 4.4
Not sure what achane's 40 time is but they said king had the fastest 40

It's going to be King. I think Calzada could even fall in behind Showers...
He is definitely not the fastest guy on the team.Jbob04 said:

Assuming it's pretty even ON THE FIELD, the Starter is the dude that shows the MOST in the FILM ROOM.
I think Jimbo prefers a Brainy, Intuitive QB.

If all else is equal you go with the scrambler.

Hang on now...You're saying that a 3rd string qb at A&M, based on last year, would be starting at Georgia? Calzada may posses some of the stuff you talk about it, we've never seen it on display.SouthCollegeStation said:
CALZADA
The toughest kid playing QB on the team that also knows the PlayBook and has an Incredible Arm that can make all of the throws. Has better understanding of college game decision making process at this point.
Probably show be the starting QB at Georgia this year.
KING
Playbook Wizard, Very Fast, but smaller body - Great short to intermediate pass arm - only average deep ball arm. Little college level film room learning at this point. A Wildcard - But I called John Football a Wildcard too.
Great HS career - But this is not HS
It's unreal. King looks like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs when he suits up.jr15aggie said:jamieboy2014 said:
The REAL question is, will they ever get a helmet that sits right on King's noggin? Seriously, the helmets he wears look like they are trying to devour his head.
Thank you... I'm not the only one who's bothered by that!!!
With that level of hyperbole, it's obvious that SouthCollegeStation is Liucci's burner TexAgs account.SinKiller said:Hang on now...You're saying that a 3rd string qb at A&M, based on last year, would be starting at Georgia? havent seen enough to know, but i did LOVE what i saw in King vs Bama.
A guy who kept looking for his receivers while avoiding rush and being DECISIVE. He had an energy that was electric; a leadership vibe and a tough runner mentality.
Maybe that was just a misleading flash. I honestly dont know; but it was DEFINITELY a flash.
You are funny. Mond says "Hi".74AnimalA said:

Does your crystal ball reveal scores? Do we beat Bama in the next four years?SouthCollegeStation said:
What have we learned from Jimbo over the last few seasons:
1. He likes QB's that can execute "His System".
2. He wants his QB's to stay in the pocket & go thru the reads - only run as dictated.
3. He builds his Offense around a Pro-style run game first. Not a heavy pass-attack strategy.
Both Calzada and King can do all of this...
Here is my guess as to what happens:
He will pick King. He will have great games against non-conference teams.
King will run the ball - probably against Jimbo's wishes.
Because of this and his small frame -
I am predicting that King will get injured in conference play.
Calzada will come in and win everyone's hearts over with his incredible arm.
And I don't disagree with you. But what happened with Starkel and Mond has nothing to do with Calzada and King. Nothing.rsf0626 said:
When jimbo got hired, pretty sure most people thought Starkel would start over Kellen, that clearly did not happen. Dont be surprised if Calzada beats out King. Only jimbo and staff know what they actually look like out there

Met the dad of a guy who works(ed) as an intern there at Texags and he said Cal had a hard time with the playbook whereas King learned it a lot quicker.Jbob04 said:
